why does (almost) everything flavored peach in japan taste so good?

i just bought some white-peach "coolish," which is ice cream that comes in a small silver packet that a lot of energy-drinks are sold in here in japan. they say that it's "ice cream you drink at -8 celcius"...you're just squeezing it through a small hole at the top of the package, instead of putting it on a spoon.

anyway, onto the point. IT'S SO GOOD. the end. peach flavored things in this country are, almost without fail, all delicious.

except for peach milky. (thank you maile) definitely not "the flavor of mom" (it makes MUCH more sense in japanese, i swear) like they advertise.

I think at this point in time I should point out that it was my birthday on the 12th and FedEx offers refrigerated shipping. :)

I'd have to agree that anything and everything that's ピーチ味 in Japan tastes good. And thanks for the warning about the Peach Milky. ミルキーはママの味... right??
